Can Jumpsoles Really Inrease Your Vertical? My Jump Soles Review
Jumpsoles have been around since the early 90's and claim to increase your vertical between 5-10 inches or your money back. Some people say that Jumpsoles have helped them increase their vertical and others claim that they are dangerous and put a lot of strain on your tendons and raise the potential for injury.
Based on my Jumpsoles review, the problem with these is that when you wear them they feel heavy and awkward. They also put more strain on your muscles which lead them to get tired faster hence limiting the amount of quality explosive jumps you can perform.
The Jumpsoles, unfortunately, put a lot of strain on your Achilles tendon which can lead to injury. Especially if you have a background of injuries, this could potentially do more harm than good. People also have complained that they have twisted and sprained their ankles wearing them.
So What Do You Recommend?
If used properly they can increase your vertical a little bit, however, why risk getting a few extra inches for potential ankle and tendon problems? Most people who have used them realize that they were sold a gimmicky product rather a value-packed product. They can cost upward of $150 for a pair and the price doesn't reflect the full value that the product provides or lack thereof.
I found that the Jumpsoles also claim to make your calfs stronger and that all other jump programs out there do not accomplish this which is complete B.S. There are a bunch of muscles and body parts at work when you perform a vertical and in order to improve your jump height you have to know how to train properly.
We all have two distinct types of muscles: slow-twitch and fast-twitch. Slow-twitch muscles help your endurance and fast-twitch muscles help with powerful bursts of explosion such as vertical jumps and sprinting. The key is to know exactly how to train those fast-twitch muscles so you can get the highest vertical possible. Based on my review of these Jumpsoles, I don't feel that they are worth the investment. You don't need any special shoes to train these particular muscles you just need to have the right vertical jump training program.
Listen, if you truly want to increase your vertical jump up to 15 inches without putting any type of strain on your tendons and ankles then I recommend you use the Vert-Shock vertical jump training program that doesn't require the use of any type of special shoes.
