Senator Maria Cantwell Visits KMIH/X104 and Mercer Island High School

In an effort to protect KMIH and other "Super-powered Class D" FM
stations, Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) toured KMIH's studios and gave a brief speech on the subject of Media Consolidation, where she announced plans to introduce
legislation to upgrade so-called Super-Powered Class D stations (of which KMIH is one of about 10) to class A status.
