High Tech Learning Center (HTLC) Courses

HTLC students can learn animation, multimedia, networking, programming and web authoring. The curriculum can lead to industry certifications and/or college credit in high school. Online courses are also available. Below is an overview of the variety of curriculum in each subject area. To apply for an HTLC class, contact the career specialist in your high school.

Animation

Learn to animate ideas on the computer, make short music videos and work with computer software to do video/audio editing, graphics, 3D animation and presentations. Learn how special effects are created in computer games and in the movies.

    Learn to create multimedia presentations using sound, film, animation and writing. Create multimedia presentations by organizing and integrating a story with audio and video computer effects, and proper use of microphones, sound cards, multi-tracking, loop based audio, mixing and midi devices.

    Networking
